Carter's Publications are Australasia's
leading publishers of price guides on antiques, art and collectables,
and our publications are highly regarded within the industry.
CARTER'S Price Guide to Antiques in Australasia,
the company's flagship publication was first produced in 1985.
The 2007 edition is the 23rd edition, and like all previous
editions was produced from scratch. Its 736 pages contain detailed
descriptions, price ranges, and colour photographs of thousands
of items from all over Australia and New Zealand. As a testament
to the book's popularity, it is known as 'the antiques and collectables
bible' in Australia and New Zealand by its followers, and has
itself become a collectable with earlier editions fetching as
much as AUD$2,025.00 at auction. Some prior year editions are
also available.
Everything Vintage, introduced in 2005, is
a new annual price guide to all post 1950s itmes, including
vintage, collectables retro and 20th century design.
Other publications currently available include
Australian Art Sales Digest. The 2007 edition
is thirteenth edition of this publication, which presents a
summary of art auction results in Australia and New Zealand
from the early 1970s to the present day. We also have an online
version of the database which includes over 320,000 auction

This book covers many of the mid20C products that have become,
or are likely to become, collectable in Australia.
Collecting Australiana Second Edition. Readers
are able to gain an overall view of the diversity of the range
Australiana available to collectors. Chapters cover the fields
of furniture, pottery, glass, bottles, gold and silver, printed
materials, metal and plastic objects, wooden objects, fabric
and natural materials, and aboriginal collectables.
